A new TL is on its way, but the current model offers good value and decent performance, especially with optional all-wheel drive. The 3.5-liter V-6 in front-drive models makes 280 hp; TL SH-AWD models get a 305-hp, 3.7-liter V-6 and a torque-vectoring rear end. Choosing the SH-AWD along with its optional Tech package replaces the six-speed automatic with a six-speed manual.
